Our Story
We’re a UK-registered Christian charity with a mission to support IcFEM, a Kenyan organisation based in Kimilili, western Kenya. IcFEM serves the community through education, community development and spiritual care, as well as its expanding medical facilities.
Our goal is simple: to empower rural communities by helping them become self-sufficient both spiritually and practically. Over the years we’ve witnessed the impact of our work first-hand – from sponsoring students to receive an education, providing life-changing medical treatment, to reuniting families through our transformation units.
Our Work
At Dreamland Mission, we believe in changing lives – one family and individual at a time. Our approach to transformation is simple: we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each person we serve. Whether it’s providing life-changing medical treatment for cataracts at a fraction of the cost of government hospitals or ensuring access to quality, holistic education at Dreamland Education Centre, we’re committed to making a real difference.
Our local transformation units are also hard at work, bridging gaps in their communities and supporting one another. And through initiatives like our bee-keeping project, families can start their own social enterprises and become self-sufficient.
Community Projects
Our 8 local units are the engine room of our work. Our teams in local communities work hard to identify needs that arise in their locality.
Education
With over 100 students fully sponsored from nursery all the way through to university, we are changing futures.
Health
Dreamland Mission Hospital now sees over 50,000 patients per year with treatment for a huge range of illnesses and injuries.
