Why is this project important?
Increased Demand
The number of surgeries performed at Dreamland Hospital has increased dramatically in recent years. We simply don’t have the space to meet this demand safely.
Limited Theatre Space
Currently, surgeons have to choose between performing essential surgeries for children and providing safe emergency deliveries for mothers. This is a difficult and unfair choice.
Saving Lives
A new operating theatre will allow us to perform more life-saving surgeries, including C-sections, complex gynaecological procedures, and advanced orthopaedic surgery.
