Samaritan Basket Programme

As part of our ongoing community development efforts, we have successfully completed and handed over five new homes to some of the most vulnerable families in Bungoma County.  This initiative, inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, is more than just construction – it is a practical expression of God’s love. Each home represents restoration, dignity, and hope for families identified through careful collaboration with local churches, leaders, and social workers.

The project’s objectives were:

• To offer safe and weather-resistant housing to marginalized families.
• To promote community responsibility and care for vulnerable members.
• To demonstrate Christian love in action.

Everlyne Marumbu with her son – both disabled – of Namwela LTU, shared her heartfelt gratitude for her new home:

“I am overjoyed with this new house. The IcFEM family has lifted me from a shanty shelter and built me a home. How I pray that God will continue preserving IcFEM. May He strengthen me so I may know Him and serve Him more with my life. May the Lord bless you abundantly.”
