I first came to know IcFEM in 2017 through my father, who was very involved in the mission and often took me to holiday clubs and encouragement meetings.
After completing Class Eight, I was unable to continue with school because we had no money for the fees. Later on, my aunt stepped in and I joined St. Peter’s Boys Nakalira. Sadly, my aunt passed away in 2018 while I was in Form Two. Losing her was very difficult and I feared that my education would end there.
Soon after her passing, however, IcFEM stepped in and supported me through high school and college. I achieved a Diploma in Building Technology at Matili Technical Training Institute, and graduated earlier this year.
I am grateful that the mission has continued to support me even after graduation. They offered me work, and I am now employed in the construction department at Dreamland Mission Hospital. I truly believe I would not be where I am today without this support.
I thank everyone in the mission—our sponsors, coordinators, and all who make this work possible. May God bless you with good health, long life, and abundant favour. I pray that God will continue to provide for IcFEM so that many more students can be helped.
